Marta Miller

Marta is passionate about supporting children and families. In her role as Family Recruitment Coordinator, Marta educates families about our program, walks alongside them throughout the application process, and coordinates the logistics of their move with the housing authority. Her favorite thing about PIO is our team’s deep commitment to supporting families at every step of their journey.

Prior to joining PIO, Marta worked at a nonprofit, where she focused on family advocacy and youth development, coordinating among various stakeholders. Previously, she held various administrative and family-facing roles in public school systems, including the role of Family Liaison, in which she helped families navigate the school system, connected families to resources and community partners, and collaborated with parents and school staff to ensure students received appropriate support to maximize their academic potential. Earlier in her career, Marta served as Program Director and Interim Director for a Boys and Girls Club, and was responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing a wide range of youth development programs to promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, character and leadership, and social-emotional growth.

Marta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services.
