Debbie Raynor

Board Member

Debbie Raynor is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Textiles and Fashion Merchandising. She continues to serve UT as a member of the SAC Advisory Board, a founding member of The Mary Gearing Society, and on the UT Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee. She has served on and started Auxiliaries for Ronald McDonald House in both Houston and Dallas. Debbie has served on Children’s Health Board for 29 years in Dallas, chairing all their Auxiliary Events and starting The Mae Smith Nursing Scholarship Program. While in Houston, she helped open the first Midwifery Clinic at Jeff Davis Hospital and served as the Chair of Mothers March for the March of Dimes. She recently helped start “Soup’s On”, providing funds to feed the homeless in Dallas.

Debbie has served as a member of Crystal Charity Ball, Cattle Baron’s Ball, The Dallas Women’s Club, The Dallas Garden Club, and Charter 100. She resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband Alan, and has a son Brett and daughter Molly. Brett is an Orthopedic Surgeon and is married to Liza, a Child Psychologist. They have two daughters, Hadleigh and Julia, and a son named Patrick. Molly is married to Grant Carson; they have a son named Owen and a daughter Blair, and both practice law in Dallas.

Debbie spent her professional career as a public school teacher serving low-income students in the Houston public school system. That experience shaped her enduring commitment to the belief that children thrive when they have stability, a safe environment, and access to high-quality education, principles that continue to guide her philanthropic priorities and board service. Debbie joined the Partners in Opportunity board driven by her deep commitment to creating brighter futures for children.
